JIMMY DORE: (00:14:17 – 00:14:23) Ladies and gentlemen, Los Angeles. I am in Los— I’m in Studio City, Los Angeles, right around the corner from William Shatner.

TUCKER CARLSON: (00:14:24 – 00:14:24) I know where—

JIMMY DORE: (00:14:24 – 00:14:36) I know it well. Okay, live, Jimmy. Oh, we’re live. Okay, everybody, we have special guest. We’re starting a little bit early because we have a special guest with us today. Everyone knows and loves him. Tucker Carlson’s here. Hey, Tucker, how are you, buddy?

TUCKER CARLSON: (00:14:37 – 00:14:43) Jimmy, thanks for having me. One of my heroes. No, I’m serious.

TUCKER CARLSON: (00:14:44 – 00:14:49) You got it right before anybody else on like 8 different issues. So I’m honored.

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s Letter to Trump

JIMMY DORE: (00:14:49 – 00:17:08) I appreciate you reminding people, because if you don’t, nobody will. Okay. I appreciate that. So I just wanted to really kick things off today. Marjorie Taylor Greene said she got this email. It says, “Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene, did I do something wrong?”

She responded by saying, “So yes, actually, you did something wrong, President Trump. Let’s start with your broken campaign promises. You protected the pedophile’s friends against women who were raped when they were just teenage girls, and you still refuse to release the Epstein files. You started an unprovoked war with Iran the vast majority of Americans do not support. You killed hundreds of children at a school in Iran and innocent people and are responsible for 21 US service members’ deaths and 865 wounded.

“Your stupid war that you claim you love won the— and won 50 times has destroyed our bases in the Middle East and hundreds of billions of dollars worth of military equipment and weapons while depleting our weapons and ammunition.

“You are supporting, funding, and aiding genocide in Gaza that has resulted in approximately 22,000 children murdered, thousands of amputees, over 70,000 orphans, and your so-called Board of Peace has done nothing to stop the war and is planning to oversee the very profitable reconstruction and takeover of Gaza. One can only guess who all will get those blood money contracts, the Epstein class and associates.

“And let’s talk about the basics that every single US president is supposed to guarantee to its citizens: affordable cost of living, affordable fuel, in which you have 100% failed. To deliver and actually driven inflation and irresponsibly driven the cost of gasoline and diesel to record high levels.”

And she says, “Yes, in summary, you are the snake that you warned us all about. And in the poem you read over and over, you never cared about putting America first or making America great again. You are the deep state, the Epstein class, and America last. And my mistake was supporting you in the first place.”

So, let me just, the Trump campaign is, I refer to it as the biggest rug pull in the history of politics in the United States. So just take it wherever you want. You want to talk about what Marjorie Taylor Greene just said, how you feel about it, and where do you think we go from here?

Howard Lutnick, the Butler Shooting and the Road to War

TUCKER CARLSON: (00:17:09 – 00:19:35) I would say 3 things. First, it’s painful to hear that because every word is true. There’s really no bitterness like the bitterness of betrayal, really believing in something and finding out it was a lie and you were misled.

I would say second, Marjorie Taylor Greene is one of the most— has always been one of the most sincere people in politics. I just interviewed today someone from DOJ who just left DOJ, who went on at the beginning of the administration to end the weaponization of government, which is something we should all be in favor of. Impartial application of the law to people, to citizens. Everyone’s treated the same. And this guy actually believed in that. He learned that the DOJ does not believe in that at all.

But he said that when he was there, almost every lead he got was from Marjorie Taylor Greene. Wasn’t getting paid to do it, wasn’t even doing it publicly. But she really cared about equal application of the law. Probably one of the very few members of Congress to feel that way.

And the third thing I would say is I’m still trying to figure out what happened. Trump was persecuted, not just prosecuted, but persecuted by his political opponents for years. That was real. They tried to send him to jail. It was real. And then something changed. And it changed, I think, during the summer of 2024. I think it changed in July with the Butler shooting.

And it was 2 weeks after that, it was August 16th, that Trump chose Howard Lutnick to run transition, to be co-chair of transition. And it was Lutnick who got us or facilitated getting the head of CIA, the head of state, national security adviser. These were all committed neocons who did not believe in the Trump program. And it was Lutnick who did that.

Well, Lutnick himself was a Hillary bundler who was famous for shafting widows from 9/11 and somehow taking his kid to school on the first day of school, a Tuesday in mid-September.
