I’m Deepak Chopra and I want to introduce you to a wonderful new program. We’re calling it the New Anti-Aging, How to Have The Wisdom Of Experience and The Biology Of Youth.
I don’t know if you know that my training is in internal medicine and endocrinology, which is the study of hormones and neuroendocrinology, which is the study of brain chemistry. And over several years, I have actually begun to understand that our biology, the human biology is very flexible. So if you heard the expression today’s 80 is yesterday’s sixty; today’s sixty is yesterday’s forty. And today’s forty is yesterday’s maybe 25. Then there’s good reason to believe that that’s actually true.
The biological markers of aging, which include many things and we’ll talk about them in great detail. But things like blood pressure, bone density, skin thickness, the amount of wrinkles you have, your immune function, your hormone levels, your hearing, your physical vital capacity, your cardiovascular function, all these are actually reversible. Even enzymes that control biological age are reversible, by maybe 15 years, 20 years, maybe even more. The research on that is still happening.
But we do know that we can create a new anti-aging program. And that’s what you’re going to get in this workshop – The New Anti-aging and it’s going to go through several lessons.
These lessons include: Number one – Changing Your Perceptions. So what does that have to do with the aging?
Well, you know everything we experience in the world is our perception of it. There’s a saying in the wisdom traditions of the east – if you want to know what your experiences or perceptions were in the past, then examine your body now. If you want to know what your body will look like in the future, question your perceptions now. So we’ll talk about perception and how to change that. Perception of aging, perception of our body, perception of what it means to reverse biological age. Is our body just flesh and bones? OR is it energy and information?
We’ll also be talking about other things in these workshops. So the first was perception. We will be talking about nutrition. What is the healthiest food on the planet and how do you access it? How do you connect directly with the energy of the Sun, which is the basis of life on our planet?
We’ll be talking about exercise and how that’s really important, not, you know, hardcore exercise but movement, strength training, flexibility. And we’ll be talking about mind-body coordination. You’ve heard, of course, of yoga and breathing techniques. What you may not realize is that very simple exercises and very simple mind-body integration techniques that take less than five minutes a day can really change how your body ages and even reverse that.
We’ll talk about the experience of love and healthy relationships, how when we are connected to life in all its forms but connected to life through relationship and love, how that actually creates in our body something called homeostasis or self-repair. And when self-repair kicks off, your biological age is also affected in a very healthy way.
And finally, we’ll be talking about how do you keep a youthful mind, because in the end up, our body is a projection of our mind. When you’re looking at your body, you’re looking at your past, because the mind in the past has determined everything that’s happening in your body. And we’ll be talking about the youthful mind that projects as a youthful body.
So this is going to be an exciting journey. As I said, I have talked about this for now 25 years but this is the first time we’re doing a really detailed workshop where you can participate, do quizzes, understand at a deep level that your body, that your mind and that your spirit and in fact, the environment, they’re all one continuum and that continuum is your own consciousness.
When we work at these deepest levels of consciousness, then we have the power to change our lives and the power to really influence our biological aging. There are all kinds of aging: biological aging, chronological aging, psychological aging. You’ll be hearing about all these in the workshop.
Join us for this workshop. We will all have a good time. I don’t even want to tell you how old I am chronologically but biologically I am the same level today as I was thirty years ago. I don’t take any medicines. I have never been to a hospital, never been sick. And you can do the same.
