Roger Clemens Introduces President Trump

ROGER CLEMENS: What’s up, San Antonio? Let’s go. I’ve been back there listening to this energy all night. Let’s go.

I came over from Houston. Houston is my home with my family, but I came over here to see all of you and our great president, of course. Let me give a quick shout out to Fox real quick. 30 years celebrating. 30 years, way to go Fox and Friends.

Want to get them in? But what a privilege it is for me to be here to intro our great president. Yes. A man that loves our country, that puts all of us first, and puts America first. This is what I love.

He’s made us better. He’s made us stronger. And more importantly, of the border and everything here, he’s made us safer. And don’t forget, this is really important, don’t forget, this man, he put his life on the line for us. Don’t ever forget that.

The theme of the evening is get out and vote. Get out and vote y’all. You can do it. And now, short and sweet, your 45th and 47th president. Wait a minute.

Wait a minute. Let me say this. Wait a second. And I might add a damn good golfer. He’s gotten better with age. Ladies and gentlemen, your President of the United States, Donald J. Trump.

Ken Paxton, Dan Patrick and Carlos De La Cruz

DONALD TRUMP: Nice place. Thank you very much, everybody. Thank you. Thank you very much. And I want to especially thank a true star, a true great one, Roger Clemens, one of the greatest baseball players of all time. And hello to the great state of Texas. Thank you. We won this state all three times, and I’m proud to have received more votes than any candidate in the history of Texas.

By a lot. But with your support, 27 days from now, we’re going to crush Democrat communist James Talarico. We’re going to crush him at the ballot box. We’re going to send Ken Paxton, who’s a… Remember, he is perhaps the greatest attorney general in the United States of America.

I think he’s probably the greatest attorney general in the history of the state of Texas. He is tough and he was with us all the way. And so I just want to thank him. He’s a fantastic man and what a job he’s done. And you get elected on job performance.

If you get elected on job performance, you’re going to have a blowout because there’s nobody like him. Right? Even Ted Cruz agrees. Even Ted Cruz agrees. That’s… He never agrees. He’s a great guy. And we’re going to reelect Dan Patrick as your lieutenant governor. So in 2015, I called Dan Patrick. I said, “I’m going to do this and I’d love you to be the chairman of my campaign.”

That’s a long time ago now, but he’s been the chairman of my campaign every day for 11 years. Right? For 11 years, you add it all up. We had a lot of victories. We won three times.

Think of it. We won three times conclusively. And here in the 35th Congressional District, we’re also going to send Carlos De La Cruz to the US House of Representatives. Carlos, he’s right here. Thank you, Carlos. I heard you’re doing great too.

“Pretend That I’m on the Ballot”

In this election, I’m asking you to pretend. Remember pretend? You just have to pretend. Somebody said I’m forcing them. I’m not forcing. Pretend that I’m on the ballot because we get a lot more votes. When I’m on the ballot, we get exactly 48% more votes. So in a way, we are on the ballot, let’s face it, because they’re going to destroy everything that we’ve done.

So please pretend that I’m on the ballot, get out and vote. Early voting begins October 19 and ends October 30 or just go vote election day. We don’t care. You got to get out and vote.

You got to vote for Ken. You got to vote for Carlos. You got to vote for Dan Patrick. You got to vote for the group. You have great people.

He said, “Don’t vote for Telefonica.” In Texas can they say that.

Trump on James Talarico

For decades, Texas has been the state where people flee to escape the economic oppression and social collapse of Democrat run California, New York, Illinois, and other failing blue states. But if Talarico and the Democrats get their way, all of that squalor, misery, poverty, homelessness… I said it the other day.

When the blues get in, everything becomes dirty. The streets are dirty. The doorknobs going into stores are dirty. The sidewalks are filthy dirty. Everything becomes dirty and has a bad smell.

But we’re going to escape all that lawlessness, corruption, dysfunction that’s coming to destroy your beloved state of Texas if this guy ever got in. And remember this, proud long ago patriots of the Lone Star State will never forgive you for what you have done if you let that happen. We got to get the best guy. I’ll tell you what, he’ll be one of the best senators that we have in this country.

You watch. I know my people. I know my people. And I just made enemies of about 53 senators, but that’s okay.
