Transcript: Exorcist Salvador’s Interview on The Ranveer Show

Now this is way back in 2002. Okay. I was, I mean I was just started believing in the Bible, started going for gospel prayers or whatever. And then one fine day the brother takes me for prayer somewhere in a house.

And as the prayer starts I see two sisters in that house behaving like not normal, behaving like a snake, dog, doing a dance or sort of and hissing. So I asked the brother, what’s wrong? This was new to me. Normally I’ve not seen that. So he said no, they are possessed. They are actually possessed.

So as the prayer was going on he just put my both hands on both the sisters’ heads and said pray. Now this was the first time for me to pray. So I just prayed whatever I could remember, whatever prayers I could remember, I just prayed and I seen that the both came down on their knees, they came flat on the floor and they suddenly went off. I mean, calm, nothing.

And then they got up. They don’t know what happened. So that was the first experience what happened in my life. So I said, let me explore the Bible more. That is how I started getting deeper into deeper, deeper into the Bible.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: This was in Mumbai.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah, Mumbai. Okay.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Would you say that this was your first tryst with demons?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, first tryst with demon.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And over the years you have encountered more?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Many. Many, yeah.

What is a Demon?

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Can we start off by asking a simple question? What is a demon?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Demon is something which torments you. I mean, it oppresses you. It’s an evil spirit. It’s a spirit form. It doesn’t have a physical form. It’s a spirit form. Now it will not be like the ones who show in movies, like a face, fury face, nothing.

I mean, the person who behaves in an abnormal manner there, I mean, we can understand that whether he’s got the right spirit in him or he got the wrong spirit. See, you say he’s a happy go, happy soul. He’s a happy go lucky soul. So that means his good spirit is there in him. But if you see, I mean, he’s not good, right? So the moment you interact with those people, you come to know negative energy, negative energy.

So likewise, I mean, this experience even Savio shared on his podcast. And if you want, I can share it in deep, right? Because I’d gone to that place, Savio and all were there with me. And this friend of ours comes and he asked me some scripture from the Bible, explain to me and I explained to him.

But suddenly his face changes, his eyes sprout out and he looks at me at close, I mean close quarters and tells me, “I am going to kill you.” I said, “You cannot touch me. I am blessed with the blood of Jesus. You cannot touch me.”

Then he moves around, he moves, pushes the sofa, he pushes, kicks the door, everything. Right then my son was just two years old at time. Two, two and a half years old. So he was also interested in seeing this. So they put him in the kitchen, but Savio and all were there, right?

Then he suddenly comes up this close. I stood up, he was also almost my height, coming this close, telling me that “I’m going to kill you.” I said, “You cannot touch me.” From this angle, he falls down, right down he falls. And then I start praying deeper according to the scripture of the Bible and then he pukes out everything and all.

And then after some time he becomes normal and he doesn’t know what he has done. So that was the first, I mean thing which got me into it, right? And Savio, it was the first experience for him. He seen that. I mean demons can make you look different, act different because they are spirits, they are evil spirits.

They will take you away from God. They will take you away from the spiritual realm, I mean the godly realm. They will take you to a different realm wherein people feel it’s okay.

Demons and the Reality of Hell

I have encountered demons, are people possessed who said “Don’t send me to the fires of hell, I don’t want to go there.” So the demon was talking. Ah, demon was talking. “Don’t take me to the fires of hell.”

And here while casually talking we say “go to hell,” right? The demons don’t want to go there but we casually say “go to hell.” So that is the difference. The demons know what is hell. Humans don’t know because it’s a deep study. It’s a deep thing.

Heaven and hell are here itself. It’s which side you are on. It’s what takes you to heaven, what takes you to hell.

Understanding Possession and Prayer

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I have so many questions. I have so many questions. The first question I’d like to ask you is about the prayer that you chant. So say if there is someone who is possessed. And I’m sure there are different degrees of possession.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, correct to say. Right.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I’d love for you to talk about possession in detail as well. But before we begin that topic, can you talk about the prayer you end up using when you are trying to depossess someone?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What is the prayer?

The Authority of Scripture in Spiritual Warfare

BROTHER SALVADOR: See, it’s like the whole Bible. Bible says man does not live by bread alone but by every word that proceeds out from the mouth of God. So any scripture you take from the Bible which gives you the authority, right?

Now the New Testament talks about Jesus giving us the authority. In Mark 16 he’s given us the authority that if you believe in me, these signs shall follow them. Those believe in my name you’ll cast out demons. So that’s the first authority that is given. You cast out devils. Then comes the letter that lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. So when you get that authority from Jesus, then with that authority you can pray. And I have seen that when we encounter this with the word.

Now Jesus was also in the Bible, he was also oppressed by the devil. He was also tempted by the devil. When he was fasting for 40 days, the demon came he said, “Oh, fine, you’re the son of God.” He knew you’re the son of God. “You’re the Son of God. Come on, you’re fasting. Tell this stone to become bread. It will become bread for you.”

So that time Jesus said, “It is written,” that’s a staunch thing in the Bible. “It is written that man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” So he used the Bible, right.

Second thing, he took him to the temple pinnacle and he told him, “Jump from here.” Now the Satan is using the Bible scripture. He’s saying, “The Bible says that the angels will hold you.” Right. Jesus said, “It is also written that do not put your Lord thy God to test.” Right. Do not put your test.

Now suppose I’m a believer. If I say, “Come on, the Bible says, right? If I have this poison, it will not affect me. Say I’m a Christian, I’m drinking this poison.” It will affect. But unknowingly, if someone gives you and you have prayed before thinking, then it will not affect you. So that’s what Jesus said. It is also written.

Then he took him to the mountain and said, “I will give you the kingdoms of this world. Bow down before me.” He said, “Get behind me, Satan.”

So this is the authority that. Now when Jesus used the scripture to deal with the demon, so we also use the scripture. He’s given us the authority and said, “Whatever things I have done, you will do. Also greater works than me you shall do because I go onto my Father.” So he’s given us the authority to cast out devils, to perform healings, to perform miracles. He’s given us the authority.

So when we exercise, when we speak about demons, when we speak to a possessed person, firstly it’s about talking to that person, getting to the deeper realm of what is that possession, how deeper is he? Yeah. What is the background of it? Right. A normal talk. Then when you identify, the demon will identify himself. When they identify, then you tell him, “Get out in the name of Jesus.” Then he has to go. Because the authority is used.

Hidden Possession and Spiritual Emptiness

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: The question I have is, are there a lot of people in our world who are possessed but don’t know that they’re possessed?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes. Right. Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I would argue that the most basic degree of possession, and please correct me if you think otherwise, the most basic degree of possession according to me is kind of leaving the belief in God because that leaves a little bit of emptiness.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And that emptiness gets filled with darkness.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And that’s the most basic way that whatever Satan is.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Can enter your world.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Right.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And I’m saying this based on I don’t like bringing it up on the podcast, but I know those friends of mine won’t even watch this episode, because they’re just non believers in higher realms. And if you don’t believe in the higher realm, you don’t believe in the lower realm as well.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Right.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: But I’ve seen this with a lot of friends who’ve been long term atheists. There is a certain level of dryness that just exists around them. And that dryness then leads to mental health issues, quarter life crisis, too many questions, too much anxiety. All that at the age I am at, which is early 30s, right.

Paradly, I see a lot of my friends who are becoming more religious as they grow older, who are becoming much more spiritual, who are at least open, who question the reality beyond human reality. And I see that all of them, relatively speaking, are much calmer in life, are much more fulfilled in life.

And I would argue that this constant need to say that there’s nothing higher than us, there is nothing above us, all these things are just mumbo jumbo. That is the first moment that darkness can enter. It’s something controversial that I’ve said, but this is what I believe. Do you agree? Disagree?

BROTHER SALVADOR: I agree with you. I mean, whatever you said, I mean, the first thing that takes you away from God, it’s like, what is sin? Sin is unbelief in God. Sin is not smoking, drinking or committing adultery or what? That’s not sin. Those are the attributes of sin. What is sin? Unbelief in God. The moment you show unbelief in God, that is the breeding place for the evil one.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Unbelief is like, huh?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Huh? Right.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Which is what we see in a lot of the Western world as well. Right? People are moving away from people having these conversations.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes. They don’t like this cyber corner because it will take me away from my comfort zone. Like they feel that being spiritual or being, it will take me away from my enjoyment. Will take me away.

Now, the moment I entered this place, did you find the joy in me? Yeah, of course. So if I am joyful, then the spirit within me is joyful. So if I carry the joy around, am I away from my enjoyment? No, this is a misconception that people have that if you do a lot of spiritual thing or if you’re going into godly things more, then you lose your enjoyment. They say it’s a small life, you enjoy, you enjoy. But with the right things, not with the wrong things.

So that is what I mean, what you are talking about. Unbelief in God is the first breeding place for the evil one to attack. And that it starts with a dot.

The Origin of Satan

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Okay, let’s talk about Satan a little bit. There’s something called prebiotic earth, which means the time period where there was no bacteria present on our planet, right? And the earth was a really hot rock that had broken out from the sun. And what is said is a comet hit Earth and that’s what brought that first little bit of bacteria and water. And that’s how we kind of began the story of Earth. But God and Satan were present then also, right?

At what point was Satan born? Because God came first, right? All this is happening because of God, right. Why is Satan there in the first place? What is Satan? Is it the same as the devil? Is it the same as Lucifer? Is it the same as the evil that exists in everyone’s heads?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Right? Now you spoke about scientific thing, prebiotic earth, right? But if you go by the Bible, God created the earth, heaven and the earth, right? He created it. And if you look at Genesis chapter one, everything that was created was in spiritual form because God said, “Let us let there be light.” There was light. “Let us make the heaven and the earth.” The heaven and the earth were made, right? So everything that was made in the Bible was spiritual at that particular moment.

Lucifer was also an angel of light. He was also an angel of God. But angels and God have the same powers, almost the same powers. So what Lucifer thought was, if I can do what God can do, why should I bow before him? That is the time when God kicked him out of the heaven. And that is why he was sent to the earth. So the earth that God had prepared there, he was sent to. And he and his fallen angels, those are called demons.

Lucifer is a chief and the fallen angels are the demons which are there to torment. So their only role is to take you away from God. So the moment you come with pride, that’s the main sin of Lucifer. He got pride that I can do anything like God. So the moment pride creeps in you, right.

Now, suppose the pride creeps in me. I am a big exorcist. I am this. I mean, I will be a party to Lucifer. The moment I say I am nothing without God, it is his spirit that is in me, that is giving me the authority and the power to cast out demons. Right? Then I am becoming humble, right?

So that is what the Satan, I mean, Bible talks about Satan. He was an angel of light. He was a good singer. He was an angel of light. But he was thrown back because of his pride. And that is why he attacks people on the earth. Take, to take them away. What I said, unbelief is sin, unbelief in God.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Because that leaves the emptiness for emptiness.

BROTHER SALVADOR: For Satan to attack. It leaves a dark zone. So that’s, that’s the breeding place for him. Okay.

The Second Level: Impurities and Possession

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I’ve had a phase of my life where I was deeply into alcohol, smoking and the likes. I would even say I’ve had a phase somewhere in my 20s where, I don’t know how to say this in a polite way, but I had a lot of friends. And in all those phases, there was a certain level of emptiness, emptiness, sadness, higher levels of anxiety.

And then there was a phase of a lot of prayer, a lot of meditation, meeting people like yourself, lot of learning, really immersing myself in work and allowing the higher power to work through me. Of course, that phase was the happier phase.

My theory is that when you fill your body with any kind of impurity, which could also be sexuality in a larger way, you are creating a breeding ground for demons to act. And on a very tiny level, like we spoke about, the most basic level, which is just leaving God, and you’re left with emptiness and dryness, darkness. The next level of possession, according to me, is putting impurities into your body. It could even be over indulging in sexuality. You are attracting more sadness, more darkness into your life. Correct. Second level of possession.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes. Okay.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I also know that there is a third level of possession, which is actually what is shown in the movies.

BROTHER SALVADOR: But movies, they dramatize a lot. Actual exorcism. If you see, it’s not that dramatic. People do not like that. It can go from 10 minutes to hours together. But that’s how the exorcism happens.

But what you’re talking about the second level. Yes. And that point of time, the people who are indulging on those things, they feel it’s normal. We are youngsters, we enjoy life. That is what is taught to them or spoken to them by the evil one through people who are also party to that. So the moment you get influenced by this, it simple says, show me your friends. I will know what type of spirit is there in you. Right.

So it’s like it’s a company that takes you there. If you have a company of good people, you’ll be among the good Lord. If you have a company of bad people. Now I’m not here to criticize anybody. I’m not here to, it’s based on the experiences that I’ve gone through. Now since I was in a field where I was away from all this negativity, I was into sports. So probably I can talk more about godly things.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: The second level where you’re filling yourself up with sexuality, cannabis, alcohol, I feel you also making your body and your mind a breeding ground for other demons which will, which may or may not enter the third level.

And in fact with Savio, with Sarva, when they speak about this exact concept, they say that when they go for the ghost hunts at least a week prior, every member is told, “Listen, please don’t smoke weed, please don’t drink alcohol at least in this one week because you make your own aura weaker for evil spirits to attack you.” Correct. Fair to say.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Correct.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So with people who are say drinking every day, smoking every day, they are already more vulnerable.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: For evil spirits to attack, a weak evil spirit can make you just feel more anxiety, more sadness. A stronger evil spirit can actually sit inside you and act through you.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, right. For sure.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Anything you want to add to this, sir?

BROTHER SALVADOR: It’s not, I mean that becomes a breeding ground for them. Now even a weaker evil spirit, right? It will work on your weakness and become strong. You will not know that. But in a way what happens is even diseases that come, sicknesses that come, they are demons.

The sickness of diabetes or sickness of cancer or sickness, they started from a small dot. It is not one fine day you got cancer and it became malignant. No, it started with a dot. So that weaker dot, demon that had entered you because of your misdoing, your intake of things, it bred in your body and then it became a cancer. Now that’s what the demon does. He takes you to death. Because he knows I take this soul. He is with me in hell.

In that situation also if like you started prayers, started meditating, right? It changed. See, you were feeling at that particular time when you were 20 or you were doing these things. That’s happiness. You were seeking happiness. It’s not that you were liking it. You were seeking happiness. And that’s what I told my children in the morning I’m going to meet Ranveer. He’s seeking happiness. And now also he’s seeking happiness. He’s seeking God. He’s seeking to know what is taking me or what is Satan and what is heaven, what is God, what is his powers. Why are people indulging in wrong things? That is what main thing you’re seeking out.

And you’re still seeking and good. Because people who seek, the Bible says seek and you will get it. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door shall be open.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: It’s so strange that when we understand Satan more, you have a shot at understanding God even further.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Right.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Because when you learn more about the darkness, you also learn more about the light. Yes. So don’t mind me asking all these questions.

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, no worries.

The Absence of Fear in Exorcisms

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you ever felt a stronger sense of fear than normal in any of your depositions?

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, no, no, I have not. I haven’t ever felt the fear when we were small, right? That time we didn’t know the Bible. That time we didn’t know God. We didn’t know about demons, we didn’t know about things. There were many stories which were floating around that darkness, don’t go there. There’s an evil spirit there. Don’t go there. So it was creating a fear in our minds.

So whenever, even when we used to go to Goa and all right, that time Goa was darkness. I mean, not much of light that we have now.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You mean God, Godliness or physical light?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Physical light. Physical light. So physical light was not there much. So once 7 o’clock, 8 o’clock happens, means it was total darkness. Like only the house lights will be there. So getting out of the house, going somewhere means not much of street lights. So that used to create fear because of what we were told or what stories that were floating around. So that’s why, I mean, that’s the fear.

But once I started getting into the biblical realm, once I started getting into the spiritual realm, understanding God, understanding Satan, then there was no fear.

A Challenging Exorcism That Changed Everything

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you found any exorcism a little more difficult than normal?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Difficult, yes. I mean, not very difficult because I don’t use my power. And this changed my perception. This exorcism that I’m talking about changed my perception because I was thinking that only the scriptures are there. So I use the scriptures and the spirits go. But this particular exorcism, which I’ll talk about now, it changed my perception because I’d gone to a place and there was prayer going on.

We were late. I mean, we were not invited for the prayer. I mean, one of our relatives just told attend the prayer. So we went there. There was a lady sitting over there and the moment I entered, she started looking angrily at me and she was doing those sounds. Those I had only seen in movies.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What sounds?

BROTHER SALVADOR: What sounds like. And if you look at her, you know something is amiss. When others are praying and she’s just sitting and looking angrily at you, there’s something amiss. So I started my prayers. Normally, I started praying, and then when the prayer finished, I told the brother who was leading the prayer. I said that there’s something that is there in that lady. Let’s remove that. They said, no, we have prayed. It’s okay.

But there was something which was there, which a lady in whose house the prayer was happening. She said, if this is the problem, remove. So she removed. That lady started crying. And she was crying in a male voice. And the male voice, you speak where I was breeding. The place where I was staying, that place is gone.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: The male ghost inside.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Inside her. And he. And then I immediately told, who are you? He said, I am so and so. I met her at this particular place. Now, there was a vulnerability in that lady.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What? What was it?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Probably some thing. I do not know. The vulnerability which she entered. Because if a demon is entering inside you, that means that you have a weakness. What weakness? We don’t know. Probably she might be over indulging in something else. So the moment that demon entered, though, he started saying, I find peace in her. I am peaceful in her. Right? So why are you even telling me to go out?

I said, if you don’t go out now, I will put you to the fires of hell. You want to go there? He says, no, no, no, no, no, no. And then what he addressed. That changed my perception. He addressed me as Lord Jesus Christ. “Don’t put me in the fires of hell. I am rubbing my nose on the floor, and I’m going.” And she immediately rubbed her nose on the floor. And the house was. There was a small window on top. That window banged open, and she became normal. She fell down on the floor and she became normal.

And then when she got up, she’s looking, “Why everybody is looking at me?” She did not know what had happened. So that time I came to know what scriptures I’m using. The Bible says, “In the beginning was the Word. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.” That is Jesus Christ.

So Jesus Christ was standing before me and talking to the demon through me. And that is the reason why that demon identified Jesus Christ. He did not identify Salvador. He did not say, Salvador, leave me, because I have no power in me. It was the spiritual power, it was the scriptural power that was there in me. That’s why Jesus was standing there. That changed my perception.

Fear: The Biggest Weapon of Evil

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: In your experience, based on all the exorcisms that you’ve conducted, what have you noticed as common over indulgences?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Common over indulgences is fear. Fear is the biggest weapon of the evil one. Now, that’s why I don’t watch much of horror movies.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: For this reason.

BROTHER SALVADOR: For this reason. Because, see, I know the strength and power that I have. I can very well watch. But what about my family? What about my little ones? What about the people around me right now? See, it’s as simple as I go to a liquor shop and I purchase a Thumbs Up. Right? Now, people looking at me, what they’ll see.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: See.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Is, Salvador is gone there, man. That means he must be drinking. I have gone to purchase Thumbs Up. I have got other places also to purchase Thumbs Up. But if I go to that place, so I know what spirit is there in me, I can very well watch horror movies and I can cast out a demon. But what about people around me?

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You think watching horror movies creates an element of fear in any human being?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Any human being.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: It does.

BROTHER SALVADOR: It does.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Because, I mean, it’s as simple as everyone listening and watching this podcast, right, has seen a horror movie at some point.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: That’s why they’re watching this podcast as well. Yes, they all enjoy that sense of fear. But the experience of a horror movie always leaves a bit of that horror with you for the following week.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes. Even in your dreams. Right.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Because it is entering your subconscious mind.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Subconscious mind.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So you’re saying that that is a common entry for a point of a real demon.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Real demon to attack. Because, see, now you’ve got that fear. That fear is created. It is created by the evil one. Because the evil one knows that where I can enter. So he is also, along with you, he’s also watching.

Now, in most of the horror movies, they give the demon a bigger place. You see, they will always throw you around this. I mean, so people watching that, they feel that demonic power is more greater than God’s power. Whereas in my exorcism, I have seen God’s power is more than the demonic power. But movies show elsewhere. Otherwise, in the end, there are certain things. But what remains in your mind is what the demon was doing that time.

Horror Movies: Magnifying the Devil

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Getting goosebumps. Because I’m going back to a lot of the memorable horror movies that I’ve watched, and in almost all of them, the evil wins in the end.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, this is what I’m seeing. So they are magnifying the devil. So once you magnify the devil, I mean, then you’re creating a sense of fear among the audience, among the people. And when they go back home with that fear, even if it’s a lonely road, you will feel that somebody is there lurking behind me. You will feel like somebody is touching me.

So the moment that fear comes in, it is the breeding ground. And it’s like the first stage, dot. Now, what breeding grounds you give that spirit, that much level of positions you’ll have.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I’ve spoken about this a lot on the show, but a couple of years ago, we chose the theme of horror for one whole year.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Okay.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And I regret it so much because things actually happened in my life because of that.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: The good news is that I met people like Sarba Savio, and now meeting Brother Salvador. But the theme of these conversations is so much more different. We’re talking about God being more powerful than these.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: At that point, I was just trying to understand the darkness alone by itself. And one of my goals was to actually direct films. And I used to go and tell a lot of people this, that I want to only direct horror films. I had an urge to direct horror films and we made a lot of horror content as well. And it got me a lot of growth.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Okay.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: But what it also did was that it added a lot of darkness to my life. It invited the wrong people to my life. It invited very bad mental health to my life. It invited loneliness. I almost feel like I started looking much worse, you know, on some level as well. And thank God I’ve left that kind of content.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah, thank God. Praise God for that.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Which is why I love these kind of conversations. We have these only, like, once in six months at this point. It used to be almost every second week at that point, you know, you spoke about watching a horror movie, and then that thing stays with you, the.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Energy stays with you.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And then you’re walking on a road alone at night and you feel like someone’s looking at you.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Right.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: But the thing is, based on the conversation we just had, perhaps someone is looking at you after you watch.

BROTHER SALVADOR: After you watch that movie. Right.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So watching those movies are like opening portals.

Opening Portals Through Fear

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, yes, yes. Opening portals. I mean, because the fear remains in you now. The fear remains in you the moment you feel like somebody is lurking behind me or somebody is looking at me. I mean, you’re not walking normal. Ideally, you would have walked normally back home. And I have gone home so many times. But that particular night, after watching that horror movie, I’m walking back and I’m thinking, somebody is there behind me, somebody lurking behind me. Somebody wants to do something, right?

That fear remains in you. And it remains not—I mean, it depends on—that’s what I said, remains on the breeding grounds, how long it remains with you. And it can have worst implications also regarding. It can have health implications also it can have. Depends on what evil spirit has entered you. It can have a disease spirit, it can have a violent spirit, it can have a spirit of anger, it can have a spirit of lust.

So what spirits are attracted towards you? That will be the breeding ground. So that’s what—when you watch such movies, something lurking behind me, it creates a portal for the evil one to come in.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What else can create a portal?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Fear is the biggest thing, right? And then over indulging, as you said earlier, over indulging in wrong things, smoking, drinking—over indulging. I mean, there are some people who after drinking also can walk normally. But there are some people who over indulge in things. And then all the explicit words come out of those people, right?

Those things are not normal, if at all. You are a normal human being, you will not speak those words. Also, once that thing, substance goes in, what makes you speak those things? That has to be looked into, that has to be identified. That means that is not me. And then people have an excuse: “I was drunk. Now, I didn’t know what I was speaking.”

The Excuse of Intoxication

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You know, this used to happen when I was in college. I remember people had started drinking a fair amount at the start of college. And you would see both guys and girls who are in committed relationships smooching someone else at a party. And the next day they would say that, “Hey, I was drunk, I’m sorry, I wasn’t in control.”

And some of the conversation would be that, “No, dude, even I have experience being drunk. I would not do that.” But you never know their reality, right? So I do think that alcohol, I do feel it makes it a breeding ground for these entities.

BROTHER SALVADOR: It makes a breeding ground for the entities. But still you have your own sense. Yeah, right. So you allow—like you said, smooching somebody—you allow that thing to happen because you know the blame will go on the drinks. The blame will not go on me.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You ended up listening to your lust more than you ended up listening to what, tonight?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, because somewhere within me, if I’ve done that thing, somewhere within me, that lust was there. It was in one corner. But the moment I over indulge in something else now, that gave power to this lust to come out, right? And I know I will not be blamed. “I was drunk.” What made you drunk?

So it’s not every time demons let you do something, it’s something within you also. The demon knows that if at all I place this seed over here, I will get this whole lot. So likewise, where there are weaknesses, whatever weaknesses are there in that particular place, that place becomes a breeding ground for the evil one.

So if lust—I can get a bigger audience with lust, then the demons go with that. And so the moment it affects your mental peace or mental mind, it sows a seed in you. And you see it’s normal. It’s normal. What is there. So once you feel abnormal being normal, that is the time that Satan is happy.

And that is why people go away from biblical teaching, go away from the world. Because it will stop you. “Oh, don’t do this.” “Why should I? I’m enjoying this.” So that enjoyment will be for a certain time. Like you were enjoying for a certain time till 20. Then you started feeling sadness, feeling sad. That will definitely affect you.

But you are blessed that you came out of it. There are some people who land into what is the demon attacking your mind. And once at one point of time, you will feel that there’s nothing left in this world for me to live. I’ve enjoyed everything and I’m becoming zero now.

So what the spirit inside tells you: “Jump from here. You have nothing to live for.” And you get so depressed that you jump. The moment you jump right, the spirit within you moves and it keeps laughing at you. “See, I tricked you.” But you’re falling down and you know you have tricked. But you cannot do anything. You land into this.

But where is your soul going? It’s not khut kushi atmatya, atmatya. It’s like, I mean, killing your soul. Murder of the soul. So where is it sending you? Into hell? So that is what his prime objective is. Getting people indulged into all these things. And at one point of time, see, any amount of lust will give you happiness for some time, not every time. Then you will feel that loneliness, emptiness.

It’s with everyone. Whoever have indulged in this, they try to please their body, please their mind, please their soul. They try to do that. But it will be only for some time.

Demonic Lust and Sexual Possession

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: These demons that you have interacted with during the exorcisms, do they have their own lust? Do they have their own sexual lust as well?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah. I mean the lady, which I was talking about, right? Her husband told me that every night he could see the demon having sex with by the actions.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: As in when they were having sex, it was—

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, no, no, no, no. The demon, I mean, when he used to go to his wife, she used—

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: To kick him because the demon was having sex with her.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes. So, I mean, that’s what he told me. So he told me, “What is this?” I said, “If you believe in this prayer, it’ll go off.”

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: This is not the first time I’m hearing about this. That a demonic entity with his own sexuality wanting to have sex with a human.

BROTHER SALVADOR: That’s what I said. Now, attraction, right? You said, what is the vulnerability of that woman? Probably something was there in that woman which attracted that person to the demon. That’s why. That’s why he said, “She has no objection for me living inside her. I am finding peace in her. So why are you?”

She has come to the house of prayer. Here you cannot exist because from one waterfall bitter water and sweet water cannot come, right? So when the house of prayer, evil spirit and holy spirit cannot coexist together. So you have to leave. Otherwise I throw you to the fire of hell.

But that did not happen. He said, “No, no, don’t throw me the fire.” Now the demons understand that. That’s what I’m telling again and again. The demons know what is God’s power? The demons know, but humans don’t know. They feel it’s normal. But that normalcy take them to the extreme steps. Depression, sadness.

Degrees of Demonic Power

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you seen demons that are more powerful than other demons? Like, is there different degrees?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Different degrees means a demon possesses a demon possessed person. Now the Bible says—see, I have seen what the Bible says is when you cast out a demon, right, it goes into diverse places and comes back to check whether you are still in the prayer world, whatever. If not, it will go and get seven more deadlier demons than before. And so the condition of that person will be worse than before.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Someone you have performed an exorcism on will still be vulnerable sometimes vulnerable.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Because the thing is, the moment we place God’s spirit, the moment we pray by the scripture, the demon has gone out. Now, if that person allows that demon to come back. Now, see, the door is closed. Unless I open the door, nobody can come in. So if I open the door for the evil one to attack, then only I will be attacked again. And if I get attacked again, then I will be attacked by more seven deadlier demons.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you had to encounter a situation like that?

BROTHER SALVADOR: I mean, whatever demons I have exorcised. Right till now, I have not encountered anybody who—I know about that lady. I have heard about from the person who had gone there, that the moment they went back, they glorified everything. But later on, they both got possessed because they stopped coming for prayer.

So the moment they stopped coming for prayer, the holiness left. And when the holiness left, the demons, seven more dead, both got possessed. Then both were hitting each other. So I don’t know what ended up, because I had gone only once over there and that once for them to understand. Lord Jesus Christ was there. So they should have understood that this way is the only way where they can leave. But then later on, I said the scriptures that seven more deadly demons. So it happened that way.

Confronting Demons During Exorcism

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Sir, when you’re doing an exorcism, there are moments where the demon will fight back with the exorcist.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: There’s a couple of questions I have. The first question is, what is their strategy to fight back? And the second question is, when you look into those eyes of that demon, what do you see?

BROTHER SALVADOR: See, whenever we go for exorcism, the Bible says this kind goes out only, but by prayer and fasting. Now, whenever we go to exercise something, demons, right? We go in fasting and praying.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: As in, you fast?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah, I fast. I fast and I pray. And I go saying knowingly, unknowingly, if I have erred somewhere, knowingly, unknowingly, if I have sinned against you somewhere, forgive me. And God forgives. Because if I go with something, some weakness within me, then that spirit will say, “What are you removing me? I am there inside you.” They are spirit, right?

So that is the reason why we fast and we pray because Jesus did the same thing. When a boy with fits was brought to the apostles, they could not do anything. Then they brought him to Jesus. The Father came to Jesus and said, “My son is being thrown into the fire and thrown in the water sometime,” right?

So Jesus said to the apostles, “This much faith you have,” and he cast out that demon. He told that demon to leave. That demon did not leave easily. He scramped and it left. That is what the Bible says. And that is what has happened in our exorcism also. People scream and they leave. But they leave. They have to leave.

Now, the apostles came and asked Jesus, “What is it that we could not do,” right? They said, “You need to have a faith of a mustard seed.” Mustard seed is so small, but the tree is so big. If you say to this mountain to move, it will fall into the sea. But you have to have the faith of a mustard seed. But this kind means these demons go out only but by prayer and fasting.

So when we go for exorcism, when we go to cast out spirits like that, for that matter, any prayer that we go, we go fasting and praying. Because we don’t know what type of spirits we are going to encounter there. It can be a disease spirit, it can be a demonic spirit, it can be any spirit. So when we go fasting and praying, it cleanses us, it cleanses our mind, cleanses our thought process, puts the word within us, and it is gelling with—

Divine Guidance in Exorcism

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: The scripture in order to exorcise in a particular case. Have you had to revisit the Bible and understand what you were dealing with better?

BROTHER SALVADOR: See, the Bible clearly states that you don’t worry about what you speak. I will put the words in my mouth. If I’m going by my physical strength, right, then I will have to refer. But if at all, I’m not going with my intelligence, I’m not going with my understanding. I’m going because somebody is in need.

So if somebody is in need, I go to pray, I follow what the Bible says, fasting and praying, I go, he will put the words in my mouth to understand what. That’s the reason why when we go to a certain place, we speak to the person. As we speak to the person, we contact his spirit. And as we contact his spirit, that is the time when we understand what type of spirits are operating. And people, they will not readily understand what I’m trying to tell.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You mean you try interacting with the demon?

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, no. With the person.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: With the human being.

The Gift of Knowledge and Spiritual Communication

BROTHER SALVADOR: With the human being. But at one point of time, the demon will start speaking at one point of time. Now for that person to understand, right? God will show something which has happened in the past with that person. I have not met that person. But if I tell, “See, this has happened in your past and this is…” So that person will try to think, how does this person know about it?

So then I tell him, then you know with what spirit I have come because I have not met you. And if at all what I’m saying is the truth, that means Jesus is here. Now if Jesus is here, you feel you’ll be unsafe? No. Then the demonic spirit starts.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So once again, to get to this point and to know details about the human being, are you able to see messages in your head?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You’re able to intuitively see messages, right?

BROTHER SALVADOR: God speaks. That’s one of the gift of the Holy Spirit, the word of knowledge. I mean God tells you something. Now as we are speaking to a person who is possessed or oppressed, right? God shows you something. Just tell it to that person. “Yes, you have… This has happened with you, is it?” “Yeah.” “But how do you know?” “That’s what God showed me.”

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Very heightened intuition. Yes, but you’re switching it on just for that?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, for that. Because it’s not for casting out that particular demon but for that person to understand that I am protected, in a protected environment, God is here. If this person who I’ve never met is telling me about something which has happened, which I’ve never shared with anyone, and if that person says that means God is here, somehow I’m in a protected environment, then the person becomes more free to speak.

And as you speak, speak, speak, the casting out happens. Sometimes just as I said, normally you speak to a person, the demon runs away because you’re contacting his spirit. Now as you’re contacting his spirit, you’re cleansing his spirit. As you’re cleansing his spirit, you’re putting the word of God in him. As you’re putting the word of God in him, the Bible says, “If God is for me, who can be against me?”

So the moment that seed goes in one body, two spirits cannot stay. So the evil spirit leaves. So sometimes it leaves without any action, without any reaction. But sometimes, just like the boy in the Bible, he was thrown into the fire, thrown in the water, screamed and he left.

When Demons Manifest During Conversation

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: That also happens when you’re in these kind of situations and you’re having a conversation with the human being. The demon is also obviously noticing the conversation.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So it gets triggered at some point and it comes out. Yes, sometimes. And it can try talking back to you. And this can be in a non-human voice.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Or it could be a female human body but a male demon.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And you’ve been in those situations where a different voice has come up?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Can you take us through some of the voices that you’ve heard?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Now the friend which I was talking about right before, with the first which Savio encountered, I spoke to him and then after coming from abroad he called me to speak to me and I was speaking normally to him. Suddenly his voice changed. Voice change means he was speaking in a different voice altogether.

And this voice, even my… I put it on the speakerphone and my children heard, said, “What is this?” And he’s saying, “I am Lucifer, I’m going to take this soul.” Right. So I was speaking to him normally. “I’m coming tomorrow to meet you.” He’s like, “Come, I’ll see what I do to you.” Right?

So it goes on, cuts off. I took that boy to the station, to the tracks. Now he was saying, “I’m going to kill this person here,” right? I cut off the line. I knew if at all I talked to him more, because I’m not there physically. If I talk to him more, he might do, because that person is also vulnerable to something. That’s the reason why he’s taking him there.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: As in the human being was…

BROTHER SALVADOR: Human being was vulnerable.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And Lucifer was taking the human being to the station.

A Direct Encounter with Lucifer

BROTHER SALVADOR: He said that, “I am Lucifer,” now, speaking in a different voice altogether. And my children, they were also… So I said, “Nothing to fear, demons will speak like that.” I mean, abnormal voice.

So next day, when we got to meet him, he welcomed us in a nice manner, everything. Then he went down and he had two, three pegs, I don’t know how. And he came and started talking to me. And then he started coming boisterously towards me. I was standing near the window. He banged his hands on the grill and on the window, glass window, he banged it.

So if at all I had banged it, the glass would have broken. But he banged it so hard it did not break. So he had no power. The demon even had no power. He was trying to frighten me off, right? But I said, “You cannot touch me.”

Then he went inside. Then he started… It went on for two hours. It went on for two hours. And then finally, when I told, I spoke the name of the person. “Enough. I know it’s you. The demons which are tormenting you are gone. It’s you. Now, now, keep quiet.”

The moment I use that authoritative power of the scripture, he went to sleep. He woke up after half an hour and asking me, “Brother, when you came?” He doesn’t know when I’ve come. And that’s how, I mean, he was cast out. I mean, I’ve seen voices speaking to him. He sat on the gallery and said, “I am Lucifer, you have to bow down before me.”

He was speaking in such voices, different voices. I mean, it was not one voice. I could make out that there were many voices. And there are brothers who are there with me, witnesses. They also know when it said that.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: It’s Lucifer, what was the voice like?

BROTHER SALVADOR: I mean, a gruff voice like this. Ah, right. Something like this. Something like this, right. So you understand why? I mean, because it’s not normal. Normal, I know that person speaking, but if at all he’s speaking in a different voice, then I know it’s not. And the eyes rolling up, eyes becoming big, so you come to know.

But since that’s what I said, whenever we go, we go fasting and praying by the Bible. We pray that if knowingly, unknowingly, I have done anything wrong, I’m sorry, Lord, I’m going to deliver this person. Be with me. So when we go in that prayer, God helps. I have no power in myself. I can tell you I have no power in myself. It’s only God’s power in me which helps me cast out demons. Otherwise I’m a weak vessel.

The Physical Toll of Exorcism

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: How does your body feel in those exorcisms?

BROTHER SALVADOR: See, when this exorcism happens, I mean actual exorcism that happen, you lose a lot of power. You become, I mean, your body is weak. Now till the time the Holy Spirit is there, he will not let the demon win over you. The demon will be cast out, but then the body drains out. Then you feel tired, you go to sleep.

Even for that matter, if at all I am preaching the Gospel Bible, if it’s intense preaching, virtue will go out of me. Yeah, something will go out of me.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What do you mean virtue?

BROTHER SALVADOR: What you mean the strength within me. That’s what happened when Jesus… when he was moving in a certain place. A woman with 12 years of blood issue, she said, she thought to her, “If at all I even touched the hem of his garment, my bleeding will stop.” And she had gone to all the doctors, but her bleeding would never stop.

So when Jesus was moving in a crowd, she just touched the hem of his garment and immediately the bleeding stopped. Now Jesus stopped and he said to his disciples, “Somebody touched me.” Now the disciple was saying, “Lord, what you are telling, there are so many people around, so many touching you.” He said, “No, somebody touched me,” means somebody touched me in faith. She exercised the faith.

Then that lady said, “It’s me.” He said, “Go, your faith has made you whole. Your faith has healed you.” So when she touched the hem of his garment in faith, she was healed the very moment. So it’s your faith. That’s why the Bible describes as faith is the substance of things hoped for, evidence of things unseen. When you believe…

See, I did not know that my twins will be delivered normal. But I had faith in God that they will be delivered normal. And they were delivered normal because I had faith in God. God did not let me down.

Understanding Faith and Willpower

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You know, the word faith might be something difficult for a lot of listeners to wrap their head around based on where they are spiritually in their own journey now. Yes, for those people, all I’ll say is intense willpower. Then if you can attach that intense willpower to a higher power, that is faith.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah, Bible text talks about faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. The more you hear the word of God, the more you hear the spiritual things, the more you’re filling your body with the positive things. As you said, we come with a positive energy. So God is all positive. God is never negative. So when you have that positive power, all the negativity drains out.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I think there’s too much darkness in the times that we live in, honestly, right? The world needs more conversation like this.

The Internet as a Portal for Darkness

BROTHER SALVADOR: My son was just talking to me and he told me that earlier the Internet was not that powerful. Now because of free access to Internet, right? So it has become a source for the demons also to attack more, right?

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I feel that, I feel that so much.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Just as you had said, lust, right? Now, maximum more sites have become porn sites. Like anything is accessible, free access. There are procedures, there are things in place to stop these sites and all. But people have other back doors also, entries to do things. So that is spoiling the younger generation.

During our time, we didn’t even have a smartphone. So we were all into physical exercise. We were all into physical things, right? Doordarshan was till 10 o’clock. After that, go to sleep. Nowadays, because of this Internet, people are staying awake in the night, people are talking in the night. And the night time is a breeding place for the evil one. Because in the night time, in the darkness…

Now, simply as that, God made the day and the night, right? He made the day for you to work and night to rest, right? That is what nature follows. The animals, the birds, they follow that. Except for human beings, right? And this Internet has made it more difficult for people to sleep in the night. So that becomes another portal for the evil one to attack.

Knowingly, unknowingly, you are given a free… I mean, it’s like if you buy one, you get one free. So you go to one site, you get another site free. So it becomes a breeding ground for you to just… “Let me just see, Let me just go and see.” So the moment you get into it, then it gets into you. I mean, it engulfs you. And that’s what’s happening with the younger generation.

Speaking in Tongues: A Gift of the Holy Spirit

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I had a Christian friend of mine who had once told me something very peculiar and I would love for you to shed some light on this. She had said that she’d gone for… I don’t know what it’s called. It’s like a camp where everyone studies Christianity together. What is the word for this seminar?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Sort of.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Yeah, sort of like a seminar. So she said that she’s had an experience at one of the seminars where she saw people speaking in tongues, right? And I was like, what does that mean? So she’s like, you’ll see that some of the people are able to channelize a language which doesn’t even exist. It’s not even human. This is not a negative thing, right?

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, it is one of the gift of the Holy Spirit.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What… What is this, sir? Like… Like, can you explain? Like, I’ve given you a small context here.

The Gift of Speaking in Tongues

BROTHER SALVADOR: It’s like there are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit. This is one of the gift of the Holy Spirit. Speaking in tongues. Speaking in tongues means you’re communing with God and God is communing with you through that language. That language, the demons cannot understand that language.

But along with that gift, there’s another gift called interpretation of tongues. So if at all I just speak in tongues and there’s nobody to interpret it, then that is gone for nothing. If I have got a tongue now, see, I speak in tongues now. This is a spiritual language, a gift of tongues that I have, but there’s nobody to interpret it, right?

So I would rather speak in a tongue which everybody understands. So when this gift operates, you just channelize something. What is that? Right? Yes, please go on, sir.

So when I spoke now, right, if there was a one with the gift of interpretation, you would have known what I spoke. That is what God spoke at this particular time, right? So when I use this gift, it is required that somebody with an interpretation of tongues is there. Otherwise, just to glorify myself, I cannot speak in tongues. I need the interpretation of these tongues also. Now, I spoke something which was from God, nobody understood.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: This is not a language you have studied, right?

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, I mean this language I have not learned. This is just coming through and through in the flow. And there is somebody with the gift of interpretation who will interpret what I have spoken. These languages can be in an anger tone and it can be a loving tone also. But it depends on the situation that God wants to interfere. God wants to interpret. God wants to step in that scene and tell, this is the thing.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Grateful.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Thank you.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: When did you first have this experience of being able to speak in a tongue?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Actually, I’d gone with my one of the brother preacher, right? I’d gone with him to Bombay center to meet another preacher. And I was wanting to have this gift of Tongues. But I did not have.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So sorry. Can you give little context in terms of when did you first hear about this gift of tongue in life?

BROTHER SALVADOR: The moment I stepped into reading the Bible. Right. The preacher told me there are nine gifts of the Holy Spirit and gift of tongues is one of the gift. And that time it was like a big thing. Like if you are speaking in tongues means you are a thorough Christians and a thorough person in Christ.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: It’s a sign of evolution.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah, it’s not a sign of evolution. It’s a sign of you’re accepted by God, means you’re taking godly language, means you’re accepted by God. So people had that thing. So I also had that need that I also want to speak in tongues. I also want to understand.

But over a period of time, I got that gift of tongues. I just spoke two words, shikara, shikara, shikara. That person told me to from Bombay Central to Mira Road, where I stay, I started speaking in tongue. And I got so many words to speak. And I was just thinking about how did these words come up in my mind.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: But how does it feel? So especially the first time you feel.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Anointed, you feel, you feel accepted by God, you feel good, blessed. Blessed. Because this is a godly language. It’s a gift of tongues given by the Holy Spirit. It’s a gift. It’s not earned. I have not earned that gift. It is given to me because God somewhere down the line knew that I will use his gifts for something good. So that’s why he gave me this gift.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What is the usage of it?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Uses of this? I mean, see, when we are in prayer alone, the Bible says, when you’re praying, go to your closet, close the door, pray within it. So that is the time when we pray, and that is the time when I, when I pray in tongues. Right. It gives me a spiritual understanding of my own self, of what God is trying to speak to me. Then accordingly, I open the Bible and what I wanted is there.

So God is speaking to me, so I get a spirit. But when I’m speaking in public, there has to be somebody with the interpretation of those tongues. If there’s nobody with the interpretation of tongue, then I would speak in a language which people can understand. And God uses me for that. I mean, he puts the same words which you are in a known language.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: There is frequency in those words, right?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: There’s energy in those words.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You’re dispelling energy.

BROTHER SALVADOR: You have heard it, right? Now what I spoke did you feel that energy? Yes, because it’s from God. It’s not from me. Salvador is not speaking. It is God speaking because he’s using those words. That’s why it has that intensity. It has that power.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And it’s not even a real human language.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah, it’s not a real human language.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So when we say the term tongues, is it multiple different formats or is it one language according to you?

BROTHER SALVADOR: It depends on what the Holy Spirit is trying to speak through you. Right. It depends upon that situation at that particular time. It depends on the particular audience at that particular time. It depends on. So accordingly, the intensity will differ, the tone will differ, the language will differ because God is speaking. And if he knows that somebody is there to interpret, then definitely there will be intensity there.

The Nine Gifts of the Holy Spirit

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Are you comfortable talking about the nine gifts?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So we spoke about tongues.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes. There’s a gift of faith. First is gift of word of wisdom, gift of word of knowledge. Wisdom is preaching the word of God. I mean, you read the Bible, you preach it. Gift of word of knowledge is when you speak to a person. Right. When you understand what is there. Right. Suddenly God will tell me something about you or something about the person who am speaking, and I’ll speak.

This has happened in with you? Oh, yes, it has happened. That is a word of knowledge that has come to me. Right. Then there’s gift of prophecy that I will, I mean, prophesy something which will happen in the future. Right. Then there’s a gift of healing, gift of performing miracles, gift of interpretation of tongues. Gift of tongues, gift of interpretation of tongues, gift of faith and a gift of discernment of spirits.

This helps in classifying the spirits. Demonic, non demonic, Holy Spirit, non holy Spirit as well. That’s a discernment of spirits. So there are nine gifts.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I feel you have all nine sometimes.

BROTHER SALVADOR: God bless you for that. I mean, that’s how the Lord is leading me. God gives you gifts. If you’re not using it, then he will give it to somebody else. So if at all I’m using it, that’s how God is taking care of me.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You know, as you grow through your twenties, you usually pick up the ability to pick up a good or bad vibe from a person. This usually happens in your late 20s. You’ve seen enough human beings to see what a good versus what a bad vibe is. I think what you’re talking about, and I’m sure where you are in life, not just your actual human age, but also your spiritual age, I’m sure you can pick up a lot more than a good and a bad vibe.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, definitely.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You can pick up intention.

BROTHER SALVADOR: You can pick up that the Holy Spirit leads me to. I mean, it’s like if at all I’m using my human abilities, I may falter, but I’m, if I’m using the scriptural abilities are given by the Lord to me, then I will not. Because that’s one of the gift of the Holy Spirit, discernment of spirits. Then I will discern that spirit whether it’s coming from God or whether it’s coming with another intention.

Spiritual Filters and Childlike Faith

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: This has come up a lot on the show. Whenever we have a spiritual conversation, some version of this angle comes out. So I’d love to hear your opinion, which is that God puts us on this earth keeping a lot of filters in our head. But they get added after, say, age four or five.

Up till four or five, you’re able to see things which maybe adults can’t see. Then life happens to you. Filters are put on, and for many people, they stay on till they die. But for people who enter spiritual practice or spiritual thought, in some cases those filters are lifted away and you are able to see things and access information that many people can’t. You have anything to say about this concept?

BROTHER SALVADOR: See, everything depends upon how we are born and brought up, right? If we were blessed to be born in a family where there were good values taught to us, I thank and bless my parents for that. You have seen. You have met my brother Savi also you. You’ve met me also the other brother. We have been brought up with good values.

Now when we are brought up with good values and spiritual insights, right? Go to church. Don’t bunk church prayer. Don’t bunk prayer. So we were brought up with these values. So when these values are inculcated in us, we will never go on the wrong path. Because there will be always something to tell you it’s wrong, right?

And if I have seen my parents who have not done anything wrong, then why will I go wrong? And if I have not done anything wrong, why will my children go wrong? Because it’s what you see happening in front of you. If you see something happening in front of you when you’re a child till four or five, it’s okay understanding. And that’s why they said children always speak the truth.

So to enter the kingdom of heaven, the Bible says we have to be childlike to enter the kingdom of heaven. We cannot go with our understanding. We cannot go with our intelligence, we cannot go with our might, our power. The Bible says not by power. Nor by might, but by my Holy Spirit. So if we have to understand, right, we have to be childlike and accept what the Bible says, accept what the Lord says. That is how these gifts will flourish.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You know, a very silent and almost painful goal for me is to become childlike again. It’s so far away from my mind now.

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, no, no, no. I would compliment that to you. See, now, you have had so many podcasts, so many things you have done right, you have already attained that level, but still, your humility speaks, your behavior, your attitude with your fellow people, with your guests speak. And we were just talking that it’s not only on the podcast that you’re humble. Outside also, you’re the same.

So you have attained that. And when you have that humility, then God blesses you. Because it is very difficult to become humble. It’s very difficult. Humility doesn’t come just like that. It is given to you by God. And when the Bible says, if my people humble themselves and pray, I will hear from heaven.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Oh, humility is a gift of God.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, it’s a gift of God because the people say, the Bible says humble and pray, right, I am blessed. I humble myself because Lucifer came with pride. See, against pride, there’s some humility.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Humility is the protection that God puts on you.

BROTHER SALVADOR: God puts on you. So having gone through so many podcasts, interviewing so many people, still that humility has stuck to you, that pride has not come to you. That means you’re blessed.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Can you pray for humility?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes, you can pray for humility because that shows your humility itself. That’s you’re accepting that I am not humble. So bless me, Lord, with your humility. When you accept that, when you accept your faults, when you accept. Now, see, when we go to pray, we pray, Lord, knowingly, unknowingly. If there is any corner where I have erred in following your ways, please forgive me.

So the moment you say that, you, you’re humbling yourself, you show your humility. So the moment you show your humility, the Satan is defeated. He has no portals to enter you.

Understanding Angels and Archangels

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: We’ve spoken so much about Satan and demons on this episode, sir. Yes, we should speak about angels as well. I’ve been very fascinated since I was a little kid by the concept of angels. And through the course of the 31 years of my life, I’ve had a lot of friends from different faiths. Okay, not just Christianity actually speak about two angels that have come up more than others, which is Archangel Michael and Archangel Christopher.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Gabriel.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Gabriel’s also reached me. The two names in my head were Michael and Christopher. But let’s talk about Archangel Gabriel as well. Let’s begin by understanding what angels are, what are archangels, and then let’s talk about these three.

Angels and Demons: Understanding the Spiritual Realm

BROTHER SALVADOR: Sir, the thing is, even Lucifer was an angel of light. He was also equivalent with Michael. If you go by the origin or if you go by the Bible, right, all were angels. But when Lucifer got that pride in him, he was thrown away.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: So what are angels in the first place? Like how would you explain it to a four year old who’s never heard of it?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Bible says, “God is spirit. All those who worship him should worship him in spirit and truth.” So when God said, “Let us make man in our own image and likeness,” that image and likeness was a spirit form. That image and likeness was not human form, it was a spirit form.

So angels are spirits. But angels are spirits which are godly. Demons are spirits which cause harm. The Bible says the devil came to steal, kill and destroy. So these three things that devil does: steal, kill and destroy. Jesus came to give life, life and abundance.

So the angels have the same function as God. So they are good spirits which tell you this is wrong, don’t go here. So there are spirits which are guiding you. So when we pray, say, “Lord, send your angels towards me, as I’m going to reach here. Bless me with your angels.” So the angels are there. People will not be able to see those angels. But there’s a host of angels who are here, who are there because we are here.

He’s there to protect, they are there to protect, but we will not be able to see. But if anything adverse happens, then they will spring into action. That’s what Jesus said. If at all, Pontius Pilate told him, “You tell me, I will save you.” He said, “If at all I make a voice, a sound, thousands of angels will come and take me.” But that was not his purpose. He died for our sins, so he had to go to that. So the plan had to be fulfilled.

Encountering Angels in Daily Life

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you had interactions with angels?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Angels like, I mean, if you meet a good person, you’re meeting a good angel. Sometimes it has happened that somebody has come, asked for something, begging you, give it, suddenly you turn back, that person is not there.

So God says in the Bible, “Give and it shall be given unto you.” So when you give without any expectation, that time you encounter angels because he was here, now he’s not there. That means there was an angel.

So the Holy Spirit, the spirit, it will lead you into the knowledge of the truth. So when the angels are there around you, right, you will not be seeing angels, but you will encounter through people. Because spirits also need people. Right. Spirits need your body. So God, if at all he wants to talk to you, he’ll use my body. He’ll use somebody else’s body to answer the question that you have.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: That’s why we say that I’m just channelizing his word.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes. He’s using my body. He’s using my mouth to speak today.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: This is why we prayed at the start of the episode.

BROTHER SALVADOR: This is why we prayed at the start that, “Lord, let your will be done.”

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You know that thought has been the crutch for my podcast journey, especially lately. A lot of emptiness I was feeling with career and all. And the only anchor I had is that I don’t care what the results are. I’m just channelizing at this point stage.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Amen.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And, you know, I just hope I’m able to hold on to that as long as I can.

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, you will. That’s what I said at the start of this podcast, that your humility speaks, right? Because of your humility, God is there with you, and he will raise you up. He will definitely raise you up. Be humble always.

The Battle Against Pride and Arrogance

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Thank you, sir. I think it’s become one of the great fears of my life that when will arrogance creep in? And on a very human level, I’ll tell you one thing, I’m Punjabi, sir.

BROTHER SALVADOR: There is a little bit of that swag.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Arrogance and anger is in our blood. A little bit amongst many good things. It’s not that Punjabi is only full of anger and arrogance. There’s a lot of passion, love.

BROTHER SALVADOR: But I met people who are fun loving.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Yeah, a lot of fun. Lot of care, lot of team spirit. All that’s there.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: But there is that element of… So I think it’s something you have to work on consciously on a human level. But again, the core logic is when you truly accept that you are just a vessel for the divine to work.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yes.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: A lot can happen, right?

Archangels and Spiritual Warfare

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Archangels. It’s fair to say they are the leader of the angels?

BROTHER SALVADOR: They are the main angels. Now to fight with Lucifer, Archangel Michael was there. So Michael was a leader of the angels who was fighting Lucifer at that particular time.

So whenever battles like this happen, the Bible says our war is not against flesh and blood. I’m not against any human being, but against principalities, spiritual wickedness in the high places. So our battle is in the spiritual realm.

We are not against people who are plotting against us. We are not against people who are jealous against us. That jealousy creeps from where? There’s a spiritual world which brings in the jealousy. There’s a spiritual world which brings in that anger. There is spiritual world which brings it.

Now, these things cannot be seen. Now see, if at all I want to see, say wind is blowing, right? I cannot see wind, but if I see the curtain moving, I say, yeah, definitely, wind is blowing. I see the actions of the wind.

So likewise, when I say God, when I say Holy Spirit, I see the actions of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is here, but I see the actions. Now, since the time we started this podcast, see the peace that is there within you, the peace that is there in this place, that is the action of the Holy Spirit. There has not been any interference, technical problems, no light problems, nothing, because the Holy Spirit is here.

Demonic Influence on World Leaders

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Okay, then, for the next question, I’m almost borrowing permission and then asking it. I’ve had someone say on the show that evil dictators can often be influenced by demonicness or demons and then go about the actions in the world. I’ve even had someone come on the show and say that Adolf Hitler was totally controlled by Satan, and they even say he was Satan in human form. Is that a figurative way of saying it?

BROTHER SALVADOR: It’s a figurative way. I mean, he was influenced by demon. Because nobody in a sane mind will kill people. Anybody with a sane mind will not kill people.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Or a person also.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Simple. Or a person also. I mean, if at all he feels it’s normal to kill people, it’s normal to persecute people, then it’s not normal. Then he was influenced by the evil one. If a person does something abnormal and he feels it is normal killing… The Bible says in the Ten Commandments, “Thou shall not kill.” If he’s killing somebody and he feels it is normal, then he is influenced by whom? By the evil one. It’s not normal.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Do you think that in phases of wars, the demonic energies are more active?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Wars, where there is jealousy, where there is power infliction, like, “I am a supreme power. I have power.” So in that, to display your power there, the demonic things can interfere. I mean, to kill somebody.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: I feel all these negative human happenings like riots, war, murders, there is some element of demonicness.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah, there is. There is, because that’s what I said. Now, a person in a sane mind will not do these things. A person who is good, why will he kill somebody?

The Illuminati and Spiritual Darkness

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: What do you think of this whole Illuminati conversation that there are higher ups somewhere sitting in the world? All these are people in positions of power being influenced by Satan, told to do his work in this world, and therefore control media. Do you think all this is conspiracy theory or…?

BROTHER SALVADOR: No, no, no. It is happening. It is happening because the effects are seen. So if the effects are seen, that means it’s definitely happening. Like I said, if there’s a Holy Spirit, there is an evil spirit. Evil spirit will do their job. Holy Spirit will do their job.

God has given us a free will. He’s not tied us into chains and told us, “You stay in this room and just praise me. I have created you, so you have to just praise me.” He’s given you a free will. “I brought you into this world, but it’s your choice to accept me or to accept somebody else.” So the way that you go, it’s your acceptance, it’s given your free will. So the will that you go, that will be guided.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: You know, at the start of the podcast, we were talking about how people have left the belief of God and are filled with emptiness. Or we’re talking about how lust from the west and elements of the west creep in into the rest of the world.

I feel that wherever there’s emptiness, it is a place for Satan to act. On a human society level, I do believe that the Illuminati exists strongly. I do believe that there is a set of powerful people who are dictating geopolitical terms, for sure, but also cultural terms.

Some of the top people in the music industry, some of the people in the world of Hollywood, especially the people at the top, are spreading darkness in the world knowingly or unknowingly. There are many who are doing it knowingly, and I would go as far as saying that they are in communion with Satan itself. This last sentence that I said, where Lucifer is guiding the Illuminati, is there any truth in that?

Discerning Good from Evil

BROTHER SALVADOR: Truth in that means, see, if you be guided by the Bible, if you be guided by God, right, you will not harm anyone. You will not do something which can cause harm. You cannot do something which can torment someone, which can oppress someone, which can cause sleeplessness in you, which can cause disturbance in your life, right?

All these things, if you are guided by God’s spirit, you will not do it. If something is spoiling your sleep, something is spoiling your peace, if something is giving you sleepless nights, if something is… then that thing is of the evil one, because God’s spirit will only give you peace.

“I will bless you with the peace, the peace that surpasses all understanding that is beyond normal understanding. I will bless you with that peace.” So the moment you get God’s peace, everything else goes off. But if at all you indulge in something and that is not giving you peace, that means that is of the evil one. That is how the discernment of spirits work.

Walking with Jesus Christ

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you interacted with Jesus Christ?

BROTHER SALVADOR: Jesus Christ. I mean, I’m taking him along and working. He’s there with me because that spirit confessed that, “Lord Jesus, leave me. I’m going. Don’t put me in the fires of hell.” So that time I came to know that Jesus Christ is there with me. He did not address my name. He addressed Jesus Christ’s name.

So I walk along with him. He is with me. The Bible says that “It is no longer I, but he lives in me.” The moment I walked in, you said, “I find peace. I find a lot of positivity” because of his presence, not because of Salvador. Salvador is nothing.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Are you able to physically see him?

BROTHER SALVADOR: I can feel him. I can feel his presence. I can feel him in this podcast also. And at the start of the podcast, we prayed that, “Lord, your perfect will be done.” So the questions that are coming and the answers that are coming is by his will.

It is not to put somebody down. It is not to criticize anybody. It is to develop somebody in the true way, in the right way. Because Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” So I am here to tell something which will lead people to good things.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you had a dream where you have interacted with the physical manifestation of him?

BROTHER SALVADOR: In the sense…

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Have you ever had a dream, like while sleeping, where you have had an interaction with Jesus Christ?

A Divine Vision: Brother Salvador’s Son’s Heavenly Experience

BROTHER SALVADOR: I can say once, my son had… Now, we were praying, okay? In the start of the prayer, he went down on his knees and we were singing, we were praising, worshiping, right? He went on his knees and he was prostrate. I mean, kneeling down on his knees, right?

And I said, I’ll deal with him later. Doing prayers, going to sleep. After we finished the prayer, after we finished the Bible study, everything, then he went to sleep. He woke up after an hour and I asked him. I said, “What is this? You are sleeping during prayer all the day you were awake. You could have slept that time.”

He said, “What are you talking, Dada? You don’t know? Lord Jesus Christ was here. He was standing here. That’s why I bowed down before him. I bowed down before him. Then he took me up. He took me up there were around seven angels around me.”

And those seven angels are mentioned in the book of Revelation, the Bible, the seven angels. Now, he was just a child of two and a half to three years. He doesn’t know the Bible. But just as I said and just as you said, children speak the truth. It was not made up.

So he said, “He took me up.” I said, “How tall?” I said, “He was very tall. I could see him. He took me up. He took me up. He showed me the heaven. He showed me big mansions over there.”

And whatever he spoke is written in the book of Revelation, chapter 22, 21, 22. That time I realized, whatever we are praying is not a joke. He’s here. And he took my son there and he showed him everything. And that is how he’s growing in that spirit. That is how what you said. Yes, we are blessed.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Want to be a part of the podcast? Do you have a memory of this? What memory do you have of it?

BROTHER SALVADOR: I don’t completely remember the whole dream, but I do remember parts of it. When I had described to him saying…

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: That there was a really tall figure.

BROTHER SALVADOR: There were many tall figures, actually around seven of them.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And there were streets. That was a dialogue between me and him. He asked me, “What was the road made of?” Like, because I could see a road.

BROTHER SALVADOR: There was a road.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And he was like, “What was the road of?” I was like, “The street was of gold. The street was of gold.” And I could see big buildings.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Okay, like, you know, mansions. More like… Yeah, yeah, mansions.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Mansions, bungalows, you know, those kind of structures.

BROTHER SALVADOR: And it was a kiddish question. But anyways, I was also a kid back then.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: He asked me, “What about the electricity?”

BROTHER SALVADOR: Like, you know, how was it? So I was like, “Jesus was the light. There was no electricity over there. Jesus was the light in that scenario.”

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: And that is how the whole place was lit up. So these two scenes, the street of gold and the mansions, these are two…

BROTHER SALVADOR: Scenes that I still remember out of that whole experience. Nice.

God’s Chosen Path

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Why do you think you were blessed with it so early in life?

BROTHER SALVADOR: God chose me. I would say, like, there’s something, you know…

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: My dad, he was chosen. Family’s good deeds.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Yeah.

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Yeah. So my dad is chosen and he…

BROTHER SALVADOR: Since childhood, both my parents, they have…

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: Always involved me in biblical terms.

BROTHER SALVADOR: Like, since I was a kid, I’ve been shown biblical movies. My mom has made me read the Bible continuously. So due to all of those biblical stories, David and Goliath, Daniel and the Lion’s Den, there are different stories in the Bible.

So because of the values, just as my dad said, because of…

RANVEER ALLAHBADIA: The values that you are incarnated with.

BROTHER SALVADOR: God chooses you that. Okay, beautiful.
